“The golf tournaments are an excellent way to support the Diabetes Foundation as well as the thousands of Mississippians who rely on the DFM for help each year,” said Mary Fortune, DFM Executive Vice President.
“As Mississippi’s primary diabetes assistance organization, the DFM sends children to diabetes camp, empowers senior citizens to take charge of their diabetes, provides schools and daycare centers around the state with diabetes emergency kits and sponsors educational seminars for our state’s health care providers and diabetes patients. Our golf tournaments support these efforts and directly affect the lives of so many individuals living with diabetes.”
